# Waterproof Wire Connectors Installation

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

***Important***! Turn off power before installing or removing the connector. Product to be used in accordance with location and national codes.

1. Strip wires. Strip 1/2" for 18-22 gauge wires; 3/8" for 12-16 gauge wires.
2. Straighten any frayed strands or conductors.
3. Placed stripped wires together with ends of insulation even.
4. Twist connector onto wires pushing firmly until hand-tight. *Do not over-torque.*
5. Wipe sealant in and around conductors and connector opening.

*Do not reuse.*

INSTRUCCIONES DE INSTALACIÓN:

***¡Importante!***Desconecte el suministro eléctrico antes de instalar o retirar el connector. El producto deberá utilizarse de acuerdo con las normativas nacionales y locales.

1. Pele los cables. Para cables calibre 18-22, pele 1/2" (1.3 cm); para cables calibre 12-16, pele 3/8" (9.5 mm).
2. Enderece cualquier filamento o conductor deshilachado.
3. Coloque de forma pareja los cables pelados junto con los extremos del aislante.
4. Tuerza el conector en los cables presionando firmemente hasta que estén apretados a mano. No aplique excesiva torsión.
5. Aplique el sellador en los conductores y alrededor de ellos, así como en la abertura del conector.
